This is what made us smile in grade 2 this week 🙂

Oct. 11– Making a story in music (Hayden)

Oct. 12– Playing games on the computer (Porter)

Oct. 13– Doing a science experiment (Brooklyn)

Oct. 14– Using the 100s chart in math (Keaton)

We have had fun this week with our grade 12 Work Experience student Miss Fedora. She has been a great help in our room. Miss Fedora is with us until October 24.

Next week is Education week and to celebrate the theme Celebrating Today, Preparing for Tomorrow we will be doing 2 activities.

On Monday it is Bus Driver Appreciation Day and each classroom is doing something special for a bus driver at school. Did you know that we have 11 buses at W.E.S.?

On Friday October 21 the students are encouraged to Dress For Success– which means that the children can dress up to represent their dream of a future career.
