Traditions Elementary Bike Rodeo

Traditions Elementary Bike Safety Rodeo

ATTENTION PARENTS OF GRADE 1-4 STUDENTS:

Traditions Elementary School will be hosting a bike safety rodeo for all Grade 1 to 4 students on Thursday, May 17th. Each class will spend about 30 minutes completing the various stations in our EAST PARKING LOT. Please send your child’s bike and his/her helmet along to participate in the activities.

A properly fitting helmet MUST be worn for participation in the riding events. Children that cannot bring a bike will still be able to participate in some of the safety events. As we are anticipating many bikes, they can be secured in the bike racks, along the east side of the school or the east parking lot fence.

Thank you to the Legends Centre for organizing this event for us. They have requested parent volunteers to assist in this event. Please contact the Legends at csr@warman.ca or call 306-933-2201 if you are able to help. Our goal is to educate your child on the importance of bike safety, the rules of the road, and wearing a properly fitted helmet.

We are hoping for great weather and will communicate any last minute changes by email and on our school website.
